Sam grew up in a house of creatives, with her mother, father, and, eventually, her sister as visual artists and marketers. She is the daughter of a painter and product innovator in Minneapolis and began participating in brainstorming sessions for Fortune 500 companies at the age of ten. She quickly became fascinated by the psychology behind language and imagery and dedicated her studies to understanding how, together, they can mobilize change.
Over the past 12 years, Sam has worked with dozens of companies and nonprofit organizations to help them find the most effective ways to communicate. Though video was her initial medium, she has largely worked as a communications generalist and has ample experience in narrative development, graphic design, public relations, and content strategy. She began her career at a small newspaper in New York after college before making her way to New Orleans, where she has worked with several companies and organizations to implement compelling messaging and creative content across their communications strategies.
When she’s not working, you can find her participating in every festival New Orleans has to offer, cooking an elaborate meal for her friends, supporting community organizations, or searching for a body of water to play in with her dog, Toast.
Sam is: Most likely to arrive to an event dressed in costume.
