A Louisiana native, Stan graduated from LSU’s Manship School of Mass Communication. He kicked off his career in Los Angeles, working in marketing and promotions at Ticketmaster headquarters and later in the marketing and publicity department at DreamWorks Movie Studio. From there, he spent a decade as one of the leading sales and marketing executives at iHeartMedia, developing campaigns across their portfolio of media products and earning industry-wide recognition for his high level of achievement.
Driven by a passion for people and creating connections, Stan has always been an entrepreneur at heart. He started SASSO in Baton Rouge in 2011 and has since grown the company into a highly sought-after agency winning hundreds of industry awards along the way.
His mindset of how to best leverage his business and marketing insights to help grow brands is something his clients find highly unique. Over his career, Stan has worked with some of the world’s most recognizable brands including JP Morgan Chase, Walmart, Anheuser-Busch InBev, Ford, Nike and others. He has been honored with numerous awards including Forty Under 40 by the Greater Baton Rouge Business Report, Marketer of the Year by Sales and Marketing Executives, The Capital Region 500 and iHeart’s exclusive Pinnacle Award. He was also recently selected to serve as a Member of the prestigious Telly Awards Judging Council.
Stan has a deep appreciation for his community and giving back. His service to United Way, American Cancer Society, American Diabetes Association and others has proven to be rewarding. Stan enjoys visiting his alma mater to speak to students about his career in the advertising industry, leadership and entrepreneurship.
Stan and his wife, Kim, are proud parents to four kids, Stan IV, Sam, Alex and Leighton along with their two dogs, Buster and Clyde. His biggest joy is watching his kids compete in sports, academics and other activities they enjoy.
