Although the Davey Awards focuses on smaller agencies, the judges have big reputations. The awards are judged by the Academy of Interactive and Visual Arts (AIVA) and include representatives from world-renowned companies including Condé Nast, Disney, GE, Microsoft, and Yahoo!
The Davey Awards are inspired by the story of David and Goliath, in which David defeated the giant with a big idea and a little rock. The awards strive to showcase “Creative Davids” whose strengths are their big ideas rather than big budgets.
